rocco the cat ruined the christmas tree

we have learned that next year we will set up the tree where rocco cannot get to it. he did a number on the tree!!!!

he sure did have a good time! shadow just watched him shaking her head in disappointment. this is his first christmas- he is just under 11 months old. shadow never ruined the christmas tree last year!

My friend's tom cat did that to their tree too.

Tavie, her girl cat, never bothers the tree either.

Maybe tom cats have to express their pent up energy from not being able to roam. All I know is the boy kitty tries to get out of the house every time I leave, and he runs around a lot more than Tavie.
