huh!! my family is mennonite all the way back to 1600s and we like to have fun just like everyone else,,we,re not out clubbing and carrying on,,we do use electricty and drive cars,,we,re not old order but we still have the old beliefs,,and these girls are just having a little fun,,YES mennonites can dance :)

my grandma is progressive mennonite and your right the do keep the belief but not dress the traditional way there old preacher did though

it feels alot like a baptist church but more old fashioned when I visit

@sailormoon114 same with me... my mom rented out a room to a progressive mennonite girl. i think she was like 23 or somthing and her boyfriend. she did wear traditional clothing i belive but she drove in a car and used the electic.

This is such a slam to the Mennonite community, in my opinion.  Perhaps I was mistaken in thinking that Mennonites were "plain" people who placed little value in stuff such as what we're seeing in this youtube video?

@wiskater001 haha yes they are . They are probably progressive mennonite. They hold true to the belifs of the mennoite church however they dont wear the traditional clothing. I have some freinds who are progressive mennonite. And as far a new and old order mennonite go thy are allowed to use electricty and drive cars and listen to raididos
