Iraq had nothing to do with 9/11. NOTHING! Should after Pearl Harbor, rather then attack Japan the USA have invaded Korea because they are Asians and live in the far east?

First, ITS GERMANY, not Germamy. Secondly the USA DID NOT declare war on Germany. Germany declared war on the USA. This was Hitler's great mistake. Had he not done so it is difficult to see how America would have become involved in the European war. Probably America would have only fought a Pacific conflict against Japan. You are the one who is ignorant of history.

oops! It was a mistake for Hitler to declare war us but NOT a mistake for us to respond. You really think it would have been better if we did not engage Germany? You would have ignored millions of Jews being murdered? Wow you really are nuts. I guess you don't give a damn about the Americans murdered by muslim terrorists either.

Better for whom? It certainly wasn't better for the tens of millions of eastern Europeans who were doomed to Stalin's tyranny and communist slavery because of Roosevelt's inept statemanship. Nor is it true that America's involvement saved the lives of hardly any Jews. The great bulk of European Jewry lived in eastern Europe far removed from Anglo-American theatres of operation. See the book NO CLEAR AND PRESENT DANGER.

Yes, we were too slow to respond, some people didn't want to go to war with Germany. ( your relatives maybe?) It made a pretty damned big difference to the Jews my grandfther was hiding in Germany that we went in finally. Do you really think Hitler would have stopped on his own?? The plight of the poor eastern europeans was the fault of Democrat Roosevelt's selling them out to the commie at Yalta. NOT the fault of us going in to defeat Germany.

War is just like surgery. It is a horrible thing no one wants, but it is sometimes necessary to save lives. God Bless Travis and all our servicemembers who have paid the ultimate sacrifice for us. God Bless you, Laura
