Patti Smith Live - Smells Like Teen Spirit (Christiania 2007)

19 June, 2007 - Den Graa Hal, Christiania (Denmark): Two badly merged video clips taken with a digital camera comprise this 3 minute film of the Patti Smith group doing a live version of the Nirvana song from the 1990's. The first of the video clips is a short piece from early in the song followed by most of the spoken word/chanting and song ending.

I liked this song as Nirvana did it, and it is my favorite number on the new Patti Smith CD, so I was excited to see this live. I hope this video conveys some of the feeling of being there. The audience around me was very fun and totally into it and Patti's voice was extraordinary this first night in Christiania.
