  • Although busy with off road vehicles Nordegg is a beautiful place that's relatively unknown or at least less busy than Jasper or Banff Parks. We went there for 4 years straight...stayed at the same campground. The same people run it every year and we never had any problems until this trip. We go on Canada Day Long Weekend and had fireworks every previous year. All the campers actually come down to watch the fireworks. Anyhow, we didn't think it would be any different this year.

  • Even though an old dirtbiker and now sadly ATV rider, I have to agree they have no place at or near offical campgrounds. And the attiudes of a good portion of the people riding now, have little or no respect for the land, wildlife or other people....It has become too popular and the damage compared to what we did 20 years ago on dirt bikes is a phenominal increase.

  • Good Job!

  • Man, I sure hate camping next to ATV 'ers. They have no regard and respect for their fellow neighbor campers who are out there in the woods to get away from the hustle and bustle of their noisey hectic life to seek peace and quiet in the first place. My last two camping trips were ruined because the campgrounds were polluted w/ noise and exhaust. Why do ATV ' ers ride those things at a facilitated camp sites? They should ban those noise machines from official campgrounds.

  • Don't agree w/ the two comments that see's nothing wrong w/ the fireworks and abiding the law on this. We live by laws to keep order, and most of the time laws are inacted for a reason. Fireworks are a part of nature? Really, since when? I didn't know they grew on trees. Can't live w/ an anarchy attitude because then where does the reason stop, and the insanity kick in? Can't let every Tom, dick and Harry decide what is wrong and what is right. Thumbs up for HIGHMOUNTAIN CLOUDS.

  • now now

fire is a part of nature, therefor fireworks are 50% naturally occurring.

    solid logic, i know.

had it been me there would have been quads and dirt bikes along with many more fireworks, some homemade!

so lets not run about nitpicking the environmental stewardship of peaceful campers when there's people like me out there.

  • Looks like fun to me. The only thing I would watch is the intro where you used the 20th Century Fox intro....that might be a copywrite issue.

  • Would you have still had an attitude if all you guys would of caught the whole damn forest on fire? I was wondering what you guys were thinking when the fireworks was going off. Good thing the authorities scolded all you irresponsible children.
