Okay, I just want to say, I'm a hairdresser.. I work fulltime in a GHD salon. GHD's are the ONLY flat iron we use. They are amazing!

And I just want to say that GHD's go from 40degreese Celcius to 210C.

Those plates give way because they actually measure how much hair is between the plates.. If there's less, it'll go to a lower heat, if there's more it'll go higher.. thus, impossible to burn your hair. =)

I have two sets of GHDs<3 I have the orginial black one with the orange sign on the end and cream coloured plates, or black shiny ones with silver patterns on it and black shiny plates. My black shiny ones don't work properly :(
