I heard Steven sing this song numerous times in person during the 90s. I have to agree with his younger brother Jim that he sounded much better at the time I heard him than when he was younger as he was when this was recorded... He is one of the last of the troubadours. I hear the old rascal is still out 'n about and doing the white water rafting guide thing in New Mexico.
