  • hell yes!!

jeff has always played rock a billy and studied les paul....great job to all.

  • This is forced, it's a copy and lacks any original life...boring

  • With that Rockabilly-Music the SUN rose up!!!!! Yeah!!!!!!

  • i just shit my pants.

  • @TheMG63 he is a great guitar player...got hearing trouble? It doesn't detract from Higham's ability.

  • Brilliant !!

  • jeff the real man can give is tribute to mingus and gallup

  • @TheMG63: I have to agree with paullubliner. Check out Jeff Beck's tribute to Cliff Gallup! There aren't too many guitar players that can pull that off.Plus, he's been around for quite a while, and paid his dues.

Darel Higham is without a doubt a great guitarplayer, but I wouldn't go as far as calling him country's finest rockabilly guitarist.

  • @TheMG63: I went and listened. I see you're quite young. He's got a better voice than Jeff Beck and does a good facsimile of Bill Haley. Better at the guitar? No, not at all. Over the last 45 years Jeff Beck has mastered many incredibly differing styles while conveying much emotion through his guitars. Most pop guitar players are far too "mechanical" -playing without emotion. Listen to Beck with Jan Hammer on "Goodbye Pork Pie Hat" & Beck, Bogert & Appice - Jeff's Boogie (Live).. Jed.

  • Much prefer her hubby's guitar playing skills. Darrel Higham - probably this country's finest rockabilly guitarist, and recording artist in his own right to boot. Check him out on YouTube because 'Jeff Beck's rock n roll party' doesn't give him any kind of chance to show how brilliant he is. What a shame that people think that just because Jeff Beck is an established name then he's therefore a greater guitar player. When it comes to Rockabilly Darrel Higham owns him. Go and listen!
