I think this was an important thing for them to do.

I mean, the Phoenix has to die to reborn and be great all over again, I believe that's what they needed as a band and as human beings.

Besides, they have grown into amazing musicians and amazing humans, this is just something that needed to be done.

Me, i loved Steve... Steve Forrest looks like a cute guy, no doubt he's a good musician, and i like his enthusiasm, but... I won't forget Steve Hewitt, I miss him
