All you Star Wars fans that didnt get your fix with this summers STAR WARS: THE CLONE WARS, get ready to wet your appetites with the latest from the house that Lucas built. STAR WARS: THE FORCE UNLEASHED tackles the largely unexplored timeline between Episode III: Revenge of the Sith and Episode IV: A New Hope. Players grab the lightsaber of Darth Vaders secret apprentice, code-named Starkiller, played by BATTLESTAR GALACTICAs Sam Witwer. Starkiller is tasked with using his Force powers to wipe the remaining Jedi from the galaxy. The story, which was overseen by George Lucas, promises to unveil new revelations of the Star Wars universe.
The story begins with the player taking on the role of Darth Vader. Vader is on the Wookiee planet Kashyyyk searching for a rogue Jedi, who turns out to be Starkillers father. Being born the son of Jedi parents, Vader senses the force is strong in him and decides to raise the boy and secretly train him.
Throughout the game, the player must make decisiosn that will affect the outcome of the game and unlock several possible endings. Lucas has said the game theme will be one of redemption, which leads us to believe that Starkiller may not fully go to the Dark Side by the end of the game.
STAR WARS: THE FORCE UNLEASHED is available on all major platforms in September and the Wii version will allow players to control their in-game lightsaber and Force Powers using the Wii remote.

hate to break it to you holyknight, but better engines are not what make better games. not by any means. the engine just inhances the quality and power of each game. Sure it might be more fun to play on a better engine, but those games i mentioned are still much better than tFU imo. To me it seems like your saying if KOTOR and BF II were on the same engine as tFU then they would be better. If that's what you mean then your sense of a good game is completely flawed...

Yes, But The Force Unleashed had a better enginge.....had they made KOTOR and BF II with the Force Unleashed engine, those remakes would probably sell trillions.

oh one more thing...best starwars game ever blueeye?!?!?!?!!??!? LMFAO. dude. have you ever played KOTOR????? if you honestly think tfu is a better game than KOTOR then i give up on you. battle front 1 & 2 were also much better imo than tfu (and got better ratings).

overall tfu was a pretty good game. im not being biased like most of you. it wasn't THAT good. it had lots of flaws. boss glitches (sith master mainly), very short campaign, repeditive gameplay (you can pretty much spam you way to victory). It gets a little boring, but those are the bad parts. everything else is pretty solid. id say 8/10 is fair.
