A "Help feed the world" music video response to Michael Jackson's "Feed the World" video of the early 80's. Filmed sept 85 on 16mm negitive film on the top of a Walnut Creek Ca. parking lot. The camera orginal neg. remained in the can till 02 when finally, NLE editing systems became affordable to us. The music is also written, recorded, and prformed by "Us". Pretty neat! Might have been noticed back in 85 if we could have compleated it then. But back then ... lab work, optical sound track, answer prints, etc. And the rental of a flat bed editing machine was a bit more than we could handle! We rented an Ariflex with a 200ft mag and a crab dolly with compressed air lifting arm. for the weekend. Had our own Bolex ( for pick up shots) shot the thing on a Sat and Sunday morning that weekend. We had brothers and dads build a little grandstand thing. Got friends and their friends to show up(in costumes too), and it actuelly worked! ... more or less... FYI... The orginal neg was processed at Monaco Labs San Francisco as was the film to DV tape transfer. And the camera & dolly was rented at Gassers SF. It should also be mentioned the great job on the music recording. Really sounds profesional ... Tom Johnson / Mark Stanley and Mark Bonillia did a pretty neat jod on it, amazing how you can produce such comercial sounding studio recordings with moderatly priced equipment(20 years ago). P.D.
Not bad...nice melody...I can see how production would be expensive!
(I recognize the Capwells parking garage!)

Some things should not be dredged up from the past. This is one such thing.
