Do you have unsettling sinful habits, weaknesses, torments, recurring bad fruit character flaws? I'm not talking about big things like murder or adultery I'm talking about areas in your life, in your thought patterns that keep you barreling like a hamster in it's wheel instead of exhibiting Galatians 5 victory?

Spiritual Housecleaning is a series I'm doing to help expose all those dark, dirty little things that the enemy would rather you think is just a normal struggle in your life.
You're here because you know there's abundant life, you've tasted it but a taste just won't do you want to live it!

Hi Freedom 1 here, with a little video crash course illustration about enemy access that ties us up from conforming into the image of Christ Jesus. I'll show how we get on the brink of agreeing with the devil how to overcome when the pressure is on, what happens when we blow it and how the sins of our forefathers haunt us and wear us down.

  • are you telling me that sarcasm can be a bad thing?

  • @buildthefarm sorry... forgot to reply w/ the holiday n' all... anything can be bad 'gone overboard'. it's something you can easily SEE. u kno an angry person by their anger.... a gossiper by their gossip & even a person w/ sarcasm....when u really 'think' about people... by their fruits you know them. of course easier to see w/ other people...the thing we havta get into the habit of is paying attn. to ourselves n getting that 'beam' out of our own eye.

  • Great video one. I can totally identify with those generational curses, those are Very hard to get free from. God has really helped me in that area through confession and having faith in His promises. It is a slow process but one that you can really see the power of God working in your life. Thank you for this video and may Jesus bless you.

  • @MrRepent Amen. Causes an awareness to only settle for God's best & journey down the path of true repentance. Gotta get those wedding clothes NICE : )

  • @freedoms01 :)

  • that was quite an explanation! thank you so much for the illustration its a great learning tool:)

  • @rustysruger yep, kill anything that will move us in2 the spirit.

k, to ans. some ?... the Jer. verse... i dunno w/ the context of israel, could it b the curse they imposed upon themselves w/ the 'let His blood be upon us and our children'?... that's what bears w/ me. gen. stuff is more than sin, you can c it w/ sickness and diseases as well. we have 2 question enemy access if we have a good and loving God-- according 2 scripture... i've 2 do more of these vids that go deeper, patience plz

  • @freedoms01 Yes, I believe it is...Interesting that many newer translation either leave these passages out or cast doubt on them by claiming that don't come from reliable manuscripts...

  • @rustysruger to know 'where' u r at... Mark 16:17-19 ... the last thing Jesus spoke before taking His seat... is this still true in it's entirety even now?

  • @freedoms01 I think we can agree on the fact that attacks from "the enemy" do come ,but i can find no solid "New Covenant" basis for them being caused by generational sin...Unless its original generational sin ( i.e.Adam& Eve)...

I can't account for your experience but as I'm sure you'll agree that our experiences must be tested by scripture..

How does generational sin mesh with the following texts? In announcing the new covenant would make with Israel, God says in Jeremiah 31:27-30
