White Houses - Harry/Hermione

H/Hr Music Video to White Houses by Vanessa Carlton.

Take note that this song can be...er...confusing, to say the least, as it's a lot of symbolism, etc., so it's really a song that I interpreted (you may interpret it differently...).

Of course, the main theme of the song, if anyone has listened to it, is virginity, etc., but I couldn't exactly do a music video in terms of that, so I had to reinterpret it...if that makes any sense at all.

I interpreted the song, in terms of Harry Potter, love, etc., to basically be about Hermione (the singer) who is in love with Harry, but for some reason or another they're no longer together. She's, in a way, started a new life, and is now going out with Ron. But, however much she tries to give her heart to Ron, she realizes that she will always secretly harbor feelings for Harry, her true love.

In the video Hermione is, of course, as stated before, the singer, while everyone referred to as you, your, we, and white houses is or has to do with Harry. On the other hand, he, him, etc. refer to Ron.

Sorry for the long explanation, but otherwise I fear you'd be lost as you probably hear the song differently than I do...

Oh, this means that there IS some R/Hr, but it's ultimately an H/Hr music video.

Just to point out, White Houses was written about losing virginity... but who cares, the beauty of songs is that you hear what you want! I love this video sooo much, though I'm an R/Hr fan, but the whole feeling of it was just wonderful, I loved it. :)

So have I. 1-5 15 times each, and six and seven a few times. As have all my other H/Hr friends. If you were as intelligent as you seem to think you are, you would recognize that literature is about interpretation - you interpret the R/Hr and H/Hr relationships differently than I do. What's wrong with my opinion differing from yours?
