Shilpa Shetty-Raj Kundra's grand reception in Mumbai

When I get married, the whole world will know.

True to her words, Shilpa Shetty, now Mrs Kundra, invited almost everyone from the film industry to her grand reception at a suburban five-star hotel on Tuesday evening. Shilpa, standing with husband Raj and her extended family on the dais, greeted everyone with a warm smile. The two then cut their 9-tier wedding cake as the guests raised a toast to them. With wine and gourmet dishes from across the world, everyone was seen having a gala time. Even though gifts were a big no-no, Amitabh and Aishwarya Bachchan walked in with a big one in hand. Then there was Rekha who came post 11 pm wearing an exquisite saree, laden with gold and sindoor. It was only after midnight that Shah Rukh and Gauri Khan, Hrithik and Sussanne Roshan, Riteish Deshmukh, Juhi Chawla, Fardeen Khan with wife Natasha, Lalit Modi and Sanjay Kapoor walked in. Since they all came in at the same time, the photographers had quite a time getting them all to pose for pictures. Thats when SRK took the lead and arranged all the stars in a row and asked them to pose along with him!

The guest list was long, the names big, bigger, biggest — Ness Wadia, Haseena Jethmalani, Satish Maneshinde, Suhel Seth, Raja Dodhy, Jackie Shroff, Suniel Shetty, Govinda, Sanjay Khan with wife Zarine, Fardeen and Natasha Khan, Zayed and Malaika Khan, Gulshan Grover, Sanjay and Anu Gupta, Atul and Vandana Kasbekar, Farah Khan, Ameesha Patel, Ramesh Taurani, Madhur and Renu Bhandarkar, Neil Nitin Mukesh, Madhavan, Priya Sachdev, Sunidhi Chauhan, Sameera Reddy, Alka Yagnik, David Dhawan, Satish Kaushik, Bhavna Jasra, the Bhagnanis and the Bawas, designers Tarun Tahiliani, Rocky S, Neeta and Nishka Lulla... it just didnt seem to end! It was a grand reception and yes, the whole world did know about it!
