@MaladaptiveCatalyst Exactly, "exploded into pieces", that's the way as it did in the movie, if I recall correctly. It's not a common way for jets to crash. It was discovered afterwards that 747's had some problem with fuel tanks and wires which could lead to detonation, and that how you can explain what happened in the movie. I'm not about to argue, just thoughts :)

@alalpw No, Visually, from the fire inferno off the tail to the explosion itself, the scene in Final Destination is more similar to the French Concord explosion after it blew up; not TWA 800. which exploded into pieces over the ocean. I dont have to google TWA because I remember when it happened and some conspiracies claiming it to be an accident by the military.

Ya ever notice that all these "Today in History" always seem to have War in them?  Dang people, it qould be nice to see none of them with War stuff , but thats the way we are... or at least thats how our Governments are. Sucks.
