On Feb. 16th 2011 Luis "Sucuri" Togno passed away from injuries he sustained in a car wreck. Feb. 19th Satsuma Jiu-Jitsu and Alec from Team ROC signed up under Sucuri BJJ in order to show appreciation for what he has done for BJJ in the area. None of these guys were Sucuri students but some have trained with him and all respected him.

Luis taught me some cool shit. He was one of the best teachers of anything I ever have known. And that includes PHDs. I was in Charlotte today after being away for a few years and thought Id drop in and say hi and was told the bad news. I still cant believe it.
