@lotte1935 I intend to buy an old (ancient, historical) harp cither, but have never learned to play cither at all, its just a wish from my heart to go onto it (grandpa was playing big concert harp professionally, but that was before I was born). Now, is this a different type in playing or being played the same and I could use your advices?

Hallo lieber Fritz, ja , ich sagte vom Anfang schon 'DU'. So geht es wenn man von der Deutschen Sprache weg kommt. Lieb von Dir zu hoeren, beinah das selbe Alter und ja, die Rose vom Woerthersee war wohl auch unser Lieblingslied. Meine Wiege stand in der Steiermark/Oesterreich, und jetzt lebe ich schon seit 1966 in Sydney und das geht auch gut. Liebe Gruesse, Lotte.
