Clapton lives in the Columbus, Ohio area. There are several blues rocker open stage joints here. Clapton has been known to just walk in with a guitar over his shoulder and ask, "Mind if I sit in?"

@charles43110 He may have a house in America, but his real home is in the Surrey hills not too far from me, a place called Hurtwood Edge. It has been his home since the sixties. And as far as i know, he doesn't have American citizenship.
