I enjoy watching and having people like Mr. Handegard, Kim Terrell-Kearny, and Norm Duke as role models. My bowling style is categorized as a "tweener" yet I thrive on shot-making and accuracy at all times. Thank you for inspiring me more and more to work towards becoming a professional bowler.
I patterned past of my game after John in the early 1990's. I too, have a not-so-powerful release and low rev-rate, but watching John Handegard on TV winning and mowing down opponents in his later years, including winning his only PBA National Tour title in Kennewick, WA in 1995 (at the age of 57!!!), made me feel better about not having that 400-550 rpm strike ball you see many of the younger players on Tour with today. This is one Hall Of Fame example of "It's not HOW, it's HOW MANY", period.

Relaxed approach, good looking line and makes the pins sink without trace. Excellent.
