Thanks, Ron. It was such a perfectly clear and beautiful day that you really couldn't go wrong with just about any camera. I used a small Canon Optio camera on the sports setting. That setting, after much experimentation, is really the best for the beach since it stops down the glare and colors get a tad more saturated. A big camera plus is that it's waterproof and I highly recommend getting this for shooting outdoors.
