In November 1930, an amateur cineaste, Mr. Takao Yukawa who was a member of the Alpine club of Kobe University, went to enjoy skiing to Harinoki-dake Mountain in Nagano with his four colleagues.
This original footage was made for a documentary film of their adventure to skiing in a bit of dangerous mountainous zone.
By the way, the same as the filmmaking, the modern mountain climbing and the modern skis spread since 1930 in Japan. So that we can see them through the then latest activity with their high passion.
