My door lock packed up and I thought a new washing machine was my only option, a quick search brought this video up. I ordered the part, followed the instructions and now my washing machine is working again. Thanks espares!

The door on my Hotpoint WMA34 would not open. Unfortunately I wasn't aware of these videos and I had to prise open the door with a large screwdriver (not recommended!). Anyway whilst searching for a new machine I came across this video to replace the door release and interlock. I bought the required parts and followed Rory's instructions. Works great...thanks espares! Saved a lot of money for callout or forking out for a new appliance.
