@JAYDEEE75 1gb. white line is screen damage, if you want to get rid of it you'll have to replace your screen.

I've got a powerbook g4 15" 1.7 ghz 2gb ram OSX 10.5.8 . Very nice machine

Not bad, i like what you have done...i have the powerbook g4 1.33 256mem, do you think it is worthwhile to upgrade to 1g of ram or should i just go with 512mb? also can you tell me why i have a white line vertical on the left sided of my screen, what can i do about it? thanks for your time.
