Fancy hunting monsters for a living? this game could be for you then.
Starting off in a little village, you have been initiated to be part of the villages hunting community.
First off, you need to enter the training section of the village, this will give you some help in getting into a pretty deep game, with odd controls to boot.
Monster hunters graphics are lovely and really impress.
Lavish mountains, snow plains, iced caverns, sweeping rivers all look the part.
The monsters and your character are equally impressive and well drawn.
Sound is very good, with some lovely enviromental effects, from the cold, haunting winds, to the roaring of distant monsters.
Weapon effects are satisfyingly realistic, as are the Monsters effects.
The usic is fairly good but can become tiresome after time.
Gameplay is for advanced RPG fans and could bury some people in an avelanche of menu's, maps, items, weapons, stats, quests, advice ect.
Game controls are very peculiar and are not normal for this type of game.
You will need lots of training to get into the controls, rectifying the cam view whilst fighting several monsters, using items and storing items ect.
Lots of people could loose intrest in a good game, especially due to the depth of menu's and items involved.
It's a lovely Monster based RPG, with monsterous camera annoyances and complex Items\menu's.
If you want a deep, lovely looking RPG game for the PSP, one that will take you a fair while to conquor but will reward you, this one fits the bill quite well.
8.8\10 Rated -0.5 for constant correction of bad camera.
