A review video on my Stag Arms AR-15 5.56mm Carbine. Fully built and modified by myself (Army knowledge!). Stag Arms M4 16" upper 1/9 5.56mm, Stag Arms Lower Receiver, Knight's Armament RAS handguard, VLTOR EMOD buttstock, Timney 4 lb. (I said 3, my mistake) single stage trigger, A.R.M.S. #40 BUIS, and Trijicon ACOG TA31F.
Only lubricant used in ALL of my firearms is Break Free CLP oil and solvents. Combat tested, Solid approved.

  • Hey, retired from the Army last year in Feb. and am now looking for an AR to help make the difference between my AK and PSL shorter. I saw the Stg Arms for sale and I also saw the DPMS. My only worry is that the DPMS did not have a dust cover. Between the 2 what would you prefer, money does not matter.

  • @scottcain20051 I would suggest the Stag Arms since I own one and the DPMS not having a dust cover is questionable. My 16 inch barrel with the ACOG make it the perfect mid to long range carbine.

  • in your experience would you ever buy an ar15 that was chambered for a 7.62 .armalite has one that i WANT to buy $1600 any comments that you might have

  • @joeluisramirez The AR10 is very nice and yes I would like one. Also check out the DMPS Panther if you like the AR10.

  • Great vid man. I'm getting a stag arms lower for a build real soon. I was wondering what you thought about 14.5in barrels? Thanks

  • @vladzizka Or you can get a 14.5" barrel with a pinned and welded flash hider that is 16" in total length, making it NFA free. The only downside is that you cannot remove the flash hider, so a two piece handguard is needed if you want to free float the barrel.

  • @solidseung Not saying all DPMS have no dust cover, I meant to say the one available here does not have one. But I agree, I should go with Stag.
