I love Japanese anime haven't tried jdrama yet! They have a way of looking at the world and telling a story that American's just can't grasp. It doesn't have to be flashy, it doesn't have to be larger than life...which Americans do. Japanese people take time and make something so simple into something wonderful. Which is why I look at anime so much because that's how I want to write my novel...

@WeirdGirlParadigm Yess! I totally agree with what your saying. you understand where i'm coming from. The way the japanese portray and convey there message in their stories is unique. hahahahaha rock lee...I enjoy anime and I watch asian dramas j drama k drama t drama etc but i find all their drama to be predictable me personally I don't think their dramas are up to par with america or UK but the asian market produce so much drama it's hard to stop watching, which is one thing usa and europe lacks...the anime now a days to me just sucks it's mostly kid slice of life crap they are showing it was so much better years ago...Kaiji s2 was probably best recent thing i've watched

I won't lie... I love anime! Detective Conan is my ish and I've seen well over 100. The first drama I got into was a kdrama called Iljimae...Idk if you're interested in historical dramas but Iljimae and Princess Ja Myung Go would probably be a great fit for you if you haven't seen them yet. The romance is definitely there but aside from that the story lines are fantastic.

@BuukaaBaby In my opinion not anymore. You should watch Inu x Boku SS higurashi no naku koro ni ( all seasons of it) deathnote, Gurren Lagann. Those are all good

@crocrolegs Uhh not really, but i do like the fighting scenes! but that anime doesn't have enough romance in it so it just gets boring to me.
