Matt Barber Assails President Obama's Gay Agenda at AFTAH Press Conference

This video was posted publicly Aug. 14. Culture warrior Matt Barber speaks at a pro-family coalition's press conference June 17, 2009 calling attention to President Barack Obama's radical homosexual agenda. The event was organized by Americans For Truth About Homosexuality (AFTAH; www.aftah.org). Barber, director of cultural affairs at the Liberty Counsel, was fired by Allstate Insurance Company in 2005 because he wrote an online article — on his own time — critical of organized homosexuality. Since then he has risen to his current position as one of Americas leading defenders of natural marriage and family. Pete, if you actually denounce violence against gays and lesbians, where was your response when Brett Vanasdlen pleaded guilty to physically attacking a college student simply because he was gay. You rushed to Vanasdlens defense posting several blog posts where you said the crime was "likely fraudulent" but didn't post any response when Vanasdlen admitted to the crime in a plea deal. Will you denounce this case of violence now?

@nicklansley I am gay, and I would never go to Folsom or Decadence in NOLA. If fact, I don't really even like one night stands that much. What is also comforting is that fewer and fewer Americans are attending church or identify as Christians thank goodness. Once we can finally rid our country of religion, things will be much better. It's amazing that we are living in 2011, and people still believe in the bible and turn to it for moral guidance. Slavery anyone?
