I love that you mention using eyeshadow as a liner, its the perfect, cleaner, more subtle substiute to pencil. Also, my favorite tip is to use a translucent shimmer powder and dab at the tear duct, outside corner of the eye and right below the arch on your brow to open and brighten your eye while defining and giving you a fresh appearance day or night.
