Minecraft project: 1:1 model Star Wars Corellian Corvette -Pt 1: the platform

Okay, I'll admit that I'm still pretty much a newb to minecraft, but after building a number of houses and a few boats I decided to start a project of sorts, a 1:1 model Corellian Corvette.

This is simply the first part of the project, where I establiish the size of the build and make the platform that I want to build it on (it's a spaceship, I want it in the air, dangit). As I progress in the build I'll post more videos. Once this is done, I'll see about making a Nebulon-b Frigate and some TIE fighters, building a battlesape, sorta.

I'd like to build a 1:1 Executor when i'm done with this as well, but that thing is 9000 blocks long, so that will probably not happen.

ok have fun :). I'm about to build executor and in 1:1 it would be 19000 blocks long. So I decided to build in scale 1:51,7 so that it is "only" about 320 blocks long. I started yesterday, so I think it will still take a long time to finish it.
