Didnt they pour something in the engine to lock the block up? I don't know about the top comments but it sure did jack up the price of the "Good Ol Cars"or"Clunkers" that were left alone

@wildbill23c Except, pretty much any car roughly 1980 and onwards had a computer that EMP would kill. Cars older than that werent even in the cash for clunkers program, however the government is looking to be able to install hardware on all newer vehicles, roughly 06 on up, that can remotely shut down cars that have check engine lights on. Leaving you stranded, its already integrated on some vehicles in the security system.

Ugh i'm so sick of this left wing bullshit, i always hear these liberals talk how we need to help the poor. Bunch of fucking hypocrites i swear! for the real poor people in are country who live paycheck to paycheck like my dad who has had his 91 toyota with 270,000k for as long as i can remember, 5k is nothing towards a new car these days. Not to mention people that can't work or are disabled got fucked over too because all these cars got crushed instead of going to car donation programs.
