I agree about the lag.
I liked the Google Voice Search I had on my HTC Hero. I replaced the Hero with the Moment to get a faster processor and physical keyboard, but I lost the Google app. The Android experience is quite variable, which is a problem that the iPhone doesn't have.

You could still download the google app tho right? Yeah for a voice control app it should load very quickly because like if you're on the road. I'm also surprised when you're doing the voice control it doesn't beep after it displays each prompt. My headset is a big part of my phone experience. Right now i have the LG Rumor 2 and deciding to sell and get the Moment.

Google has different agreements with each phone. I can't download the Google Voice Search on the Moment.
