Can beat most V8s in a drag due to its raw torque when you plant you foot down.

Too soon?

I drive an electric car every day... and love it. And as for affordable, the _reason_ I went electric for my new car was cost. It cost a bit more up front, but when I ran the numbers over a few years it was cheaper than any of the gas-burning alternatives, and I didn't even factor in the lower expected maintenance costs.

EVs aren't yet for everyone, but they're here, and very practical.

How dumb are you? That's true, but coal plants are tons more efficient at converting fossil fuel to electricity than a car is gas to mechanical.

Plus, if you can afford this car, you can probably afford to slap some solar panels on your roof and make this car 100% independent.
