Also, if you see the site's "about" section, it states that the game has a story that sounds very different from Portal, and sounds much stronger than the extremely short story that QUBE told. Global conspiracy involving scientific innovation, intertwined with shady government dealings and the end of the world via resource deprivation?

Just finished Q.U.B.E. and I've got to say that it was much closer in aesthetic design and concepts to Portal than this looks to be. So it's a first person puzzle game in an Antarctic underground facility? Whoopee. Does it have flawless white cube walls? No. Does it the whole place suddenly malfunction partway through and you see the broken parts? Looks like this place is already breaking down. Does it have a portal gun? No.

Seriously. I for one like the "abandoned facility" niche. Go with it.

@estemshorn Do I care? I beat Portal and Portal 2. What am I going to do while waiting for Portal 3? I'll play good quality rip-offs. I haven't found any other good first-person puzzle games and they are the only ones I can't get enough of.

I've never seen a serious "we are coming to kick ass!" ad. of this game... this doesn't dare valve or portal or any other game. this game doesn't say that it's going to change everything we know about gaming or its mechanics or anything else. it's just a game and it looks pretty modest to me. there's a game called the ball you know? is it a copycat of portal? is it? anyway i hope this is going to be a good game that we could play while we wait for some other important games:)

looks like portal 2, has the same "underground facility" thing as portal, the arm thingy is basically the gravity gun from half life 2. this game is such a ripoff
