I don't think you appreciate how steep this is. They are "hucking their meat": dropping cliffs. The first three or four are no fall zones (you'd tumble to your death over lower cliffs). The steep curvature prevents you from seeing the next cliff lip; you have to approach slowly, sometimes stick a landing with a complete stop on a 10 foot patch of snow. The last cliff is a free card: if you can drop 20 ft (hence the backflip). The game is to ski an almost unskiable line, but survive.
