For the past decade or so I have enjoyed watching Steve and Terri Irwin's Adventures on television. In light of his recent tragic passing, I offer this in homage to him and the legacy he leaves behind.

There is a large void left in the world, two big shoes that will be impossible to fill. Thank you, Steve, for all you have done for all the creatures of the world.

Terri, Bindi, and Bob, I am praying for you.

To help keep Steve's conservation efforts going, and the Australia Zoo running, and to help Terri, Bindi, and Bob Irwin's future needs, Discovery Channel has set up a memorial fund in Steve's honor, "The Crikey Fund." Go to www.discovery.com for more details and to make a donation.

  • I don't mean to laugh but this song reminds me of The Lion King. Its pretty though.. as is this video.

  • It's actually from an even better movie, which if you have never seen, you really should. The song is from "The Power of One" starring Stephen Dorff and Morgan Freeman.

  • Yes, parrots always made him nervous; and on his and Terri's wedding day, he was "absolutely petrified," as he put it.
