"she was one of my clients but that was last yr. ive never seen her since then" Brad lookd at me "client? you still do that?" i smirkd "paid the bills. and no not anymore" he nodded "alright what do you know about Nick Starrz? its been said that hes your boyfriend" i immediatley felt angered at the fact that a guy like him knew about that. he could easily get me landed in jail. "yeah" he smiled "tell me about him? did you know he was sick?" i nodded to upset to say anything fearing that something might come out that i know ill regret. Jay looked at me and made an effort to get me to talk. "how did you two meet?" "we uhh-" "you idiot thats not how you interrogate someone!" "well hes talking." Jay lookd back at me. "ok forget about Brad its just us" Brad stood up and cussed and walkd over to a window. "so when did you two meet?" i took a deep breath "we meet on the first day of school. around that time i was a total druggie and drunkard i was addicted. and when i met him unfortunately i didnt like the idea of showing him around the school but my mom and his mom know each other so i had to be nice. then we just startd hangin out goin to parties and such" Jay nodded and lookd at at file that happnd to have my name on it and Nicks. i didnt know he had a file? Jay noticed me looking. "oh this is actually from the hospital its a copy. he has a disease did you know about that too?" i nodded. "i found out a the first party i took him too" Jay lookd at me clearly interested in my story. "and what happnd?" "he almost passed out. it was bcuz he had forgotten to take his medicine and during that time i was no where near but didnt start drinkin just yet. i usually wait til midnight for that" Jay smiled "i understand. so was there any other time that he had been taken to the hospital while he was with you?" i nodded. Brad shot back over to us "AHA!" i lookd up at him BORED written across my face. "aha, what?" his confidence shatterd undr my gaze. Jay laughd a little. "so Joseph. after you found out about this disease you realize you have to get rid of your drugs so he wouldnt mi-" i shook my head. "oh no. Nicks too smart for that. he told me while he was staying with me. so i got rid of them along time ago. my bro and his wife helpd with that and so did Nick they all helpd me and Nick helpd me to bring my grades up in school. i been clean for as long as we"ve been together. ive nevr laid a hand on Nick unless he askd me too. and as far as i know out of the two of us im the only one that has been beaten by somebody. if you want their numbers ill be happy to give them to you. names too" Jay nodded "later. well i thnk we should let you go now" Brad screamd "ARE YOU KIDDING?! this kid has been in drug bust. and has been in and out of jail for the past 2 yrs!" Jay put all the files together and walkd to the door. "as far as im concerned this boy has no need to be here. i have no idea why you brought him in. and you of all officers and investigators here should know that you should never get emotionally involved with a suspect or victim or any such client that is brought in or walks in. Joseph you are free to go" i got up and walkd out. as i walkd by Brad i couldnt help to look at him and smirk. he got upset "i will get you Joseph!" i laughd "You can try! you been trying to for years unfortunately its never gonna happen. im a changed man. so build a bridge and get over it" i kept walking and smiled at all the officers laughing at my joke. Jay walkd over to me "hey you need a escort to get to the hospital from here? i could take you" i put a hand on his shoulder "that is a good idea. thanks"
