Chinese Dialogue

This is my rendition of a Chinese dialogue I found here on YT.
Thought I'd give you an update on
the « chinese side of things ».
It's fairly easy to sing, but the real deal is to actually be able to talk. I don't feel really comfortable yet, but hopefully it sounds better than in the "first steps in chinese video" a few months back. I remember a comment saying I sounded like "Beijing Opera" lol! Anywayz I'm less obsessed with the 4 tones (still a lil bit though).
I've been "studying" with the ActiveChinese videos on Youtube. Like watching and repeating 5 to 10 mins a day, in additon to singing chinese songs. I also found some other random videos on Chinese language. Also I'm very happy because I've been able to learn a couple of song with the Karaoke only, no pinyin at all! Hihihi : P

I can speak ok French, and I'm Chinese, so i think your Chinese (not to mention Japanese) is totally amazing.

Just need to point out that you don't have to be obsessive with the tones - but do try to understand that if you say something in a different tone, it could mean a whole different thing!

wow that's pretty good chinese. i'm an abc. americanbornchinese(: it sounds really formal and i would probably speak like that in that situation. you're really talented! i think the home person sounds a little bit more fluent than the resturant lady.
