While Ennio Morricone pioneered the classic Italian Western sound, he had many brilliant friends and rival composers to compete with. Here's a great one from Riz Ortolani; he brings an almost or John Barry or hipster jazz verve into the "spagehtti" western sound.

His "Theme From Day of Anger" was heard in the House Of Blue Leaves duel in "KILL BILL, Vol. 1". In "KILL BILL, Vol. 2" , this piece of music is used when The Bride finally finds Bill. Neither piece was included on the soundtracks.

This is the theme song to The Day of Anger starring Lee Van Cleef a great western. It is not Django or Django Unchained or a kung fu movie. That came later. It has been around since 1967 and it was excellent for The Day of Anger.
