@Naturalhit Leopard vs Lion - Big Male Leopard Fighting Four Lionesses Leopard kills hyena. ChosenPrince is a leopard hater making lies and fake videos. I had the video for the 2nd one as well but it is very hard to find. If you are really interested I will continue searching for you...
@mitsugst066 Well, you can find that video or documentary I would love to see that. I've worked with both animals before when I was a volunteer at the zoo and I've spoken to zoologist and I have a bunch of collections of Nat Geo and Discovery on Wild Cat and Africa, Asia, and such. I have yet to see a video or hear what experts to back up your claim.
The only way a Leopard will face a Lion is when he has no choice and his life is in danger or if female cubs.
@Naturalhit Hyena...sure they will. Plenty of videos to back that up. A lion....9 out of 10 times they will go the other way but a big male jaguar may test his luck which is what happend in the video 4 vs 1. The leopard faced one and stood it's ground. When the other 3 showed up, he knew he better bail!!!
@mitsugst066 No, Leopards won't face a Lion nor a Hyenas for that matter. They won't risk injurying themselves because that would spell trouble for them.
I agree with everything except that last statement. Lynx rufus maxes around, what? 40 lbs? The average weight is about 25 or so lbs. A lone alpha male would have a considerable advantage over a cat a quarter/third of its weight and skull much less powerful than its own. I'd even back the alpha males of some small southern populations of wolves, let alone a big North American Timberwolf.
These comments are just not accurate. No solitary big cat will recklessly risk major injury unless defending a kill or enraged. Leopards will face off against lions only if cornered or stupid because they will die. The video where the big male leopard stupidly engaged 4 lions resulted in the leopard immediately going 100% defensive and bolting at the first opportunity. Pumas generally retreat from bears or wolf packs. A lone wolf isn't a match for any big cat; it might be outclassed by a bobcat.
@combatesdeboxeo Do you have Down Syndrome? You stated that a leopard would run from a lioness and I demonstrated that it would face off against 4 lions. I didn't say it could take them on dopey. Leopards have balls of steel. They may not win all the time but they won't always run away. Quit the hostility and pay attention to people's answers and your own statements, for that matter. Oh, and bigger is spelled with 2 g's...
@mitsugst066 but honestly are you serious? dumb ...... a lioness is much bigger, much heavier, much stronger, the frame of a lioness is much biger than the frame of the biggest leopard, please shut the fuck and don´t be retard
@mitsugst066 In the animal kingdom there's a lot we still don't understand.
