It is possible to catch other species of game fish in the Gulf of Mexico, off the Alabama Coast, if you can get your live bait through the endangered Red Snapper population. The agencies that make the regulations on the Red Snapper Season in the Gulf definitely have not fished out there lately. The Red Snapper are surely eating everything else besides the baits fishermen throw to them!!! Where will that leave us long term with other fish populations?
