Spider-Man Archives: Scorpion Sketch card- sped up video

A sketch card for the upcoming "Spider-Man: Archives" card set from RittenHouse Archives ( http://www.scifihobby.com/products/marvel/spider-manarchives/ ).

This was more done to test the web cam. Still not really comfortable with this thing in front of my face. I've got to figure out a better rig. Hopefully you'll be able to see some of the pencil work. The lighting was bad plus I work pencils very light.

All together this took me roughly 3 hours to do as I had to span it over a few days and the camera was a real hinder.

@jurgislv I think Scorpion is the current Venom , "Gargon". I honestly wish I could go back and redraw this :)

Awesome! Decent setup for your first.

Lighting is a pain to work with. Also check for camera settings...like auto focus, auto exposure and other auto stuff. I turn them all off and set it manually to a test card (that has ink and color) under the camera. This way everything is set to the card and doesn't change due to hand movement and focus etc when you start to record.

Jeremy Treece told me about this camera, boynq-Iris...it seemed cool at first but I really need to learn that webcams are all around never good.

It does have a focus ring on it so no worried on it going in and out of focus.

And I only have two quirks with mine (logitech orbit): 1. settings reset upon opening application. 2. Doesn't work with my MAC (ARGH!). And sorta the 3rd: $140 (would have been worth it if it worked on a MAC since I don't have a PC worthy enough to edit with decent programs).

Anyhow, sucks when most cams don't have settings to change....like the stupid built in one on my MAC.
