Let me explain something. There's this tradition in Pakistan that the groom at the time of wedding gives "salami" (gift money) to the bride's sisters/cousins. Here, sister of the bride refuses to vacate seat for the groom until he gifts her. It's not about money, it's just playful tradition.
Sometimes, the whole thing includes taking the groom's shoe and not giving it back until the salami is received. So, please refrain from racist comments and don't be disrespectful to this amazing couple.

i think it is not love just matter of two things one poor people do not find suitable grooms and second they want some money to at least run their houses. people are being forced by their circumstances to do the such compromises. shame of all pakistani rulers who have been in government and did not change the system.
