Here I will be having a look at the basic editing of 'touching up' and 'refining' a photo in this program, before beginning with other stages of editing. These basic edits include Cropping, Resizing, 'Sharpening' (the photo resolution), Editing Exposure setting such as Contrast, Highlights, Shadows and brightness, as well as Rotation which allows for your to rotate your image -handy if you have a side shot image you'd like to rotate and edit right side up.

I will continue on with my next part to this tutorial on further editing techniques such as editing in Black and White, adding Blurs, Boosting and even adding that 'widescreen effect'. Stay tuned and i hoped this helpes anybody wanting to get into the basics of photo editing.
