True, I agree with you on that. But it can't rule out that all such mergers would be a disaster.

To me it's a struggle between allowing for an unfair market advantage and the possibility of better service. As much as I dislike monopolies and mergers, I can't help fight my bias in this case since Comcast is the only internet service where I'm located (a city with over 1 million) and their service is God-awful due to dated infrastructure.

  • @DaedalusReturned I could be wrong, but merging - in my experience - never yields better results. Look at AOL-Time Warner.

  • Ah PooP

their gonna take away our Right to say shit like the " F " word on the internet ..

    ***** Warning *****

this is a tribute to the old ideas

That the internet should always remain free as a service to the people by the people and as a provider of uncensored independent private media by the people as a device of protection against tyrannical governments.

It's up to you to protect your own fucken rights..

  • 6 corporations own all YOUR talking points.

  • Comcast quality control is terrible. It's no surprise why they've lost so many subscribers. If merging will ensure a better service and upgrading of dated hardware in locations across America, then by all means they should merge.
