Amon Düül / Rainer Werner Fassbinder / Niklashauser Fart

Amon Düüls appearance in the 1970 Fassbinder movie Niklahauser Fart which connects a 15th century peasants rebellion with the political struggles of the 1960ties. Because I find it sometimes annoying when the music is ripped of their original context leaving only a song that you can buy and consume without much thinking, I left the foregoing scene where the economic theories of Karl Marx are quoted. After the Düüls hint of another society, Fassbinder (in modern clothes representing the present) discusses the chances of a revolution with one of the peasant rebels

für mich einer der besten fassbinderfilme.

dazu die düüls in einer phase extremer krise (übrigens trug chris nur für wenige wochen bart ;-).. hier läuft sehr viel zwischen den zeilen ab und man muss dazu auch die eigene zeit als nichts festgelegtes erkannt haben, um ihn zu verstehen.
