  • A simple question for the people in the US administration, who are beating the drums of improvements in Iraq.

"Is that what you are going to tell the millions of Iraqis and thousands of Americans who have lost their husbands, wives, children and other loved ones- that their lives will be eventually better?"

Bush and Cheney should be sent to international courts just like the Nazis. That is the only way American credibility can return.

  • United Nations should be closed down immediately. it has lossed credibility and just working for Israel and American and creating hetrate among the world community

  • i certainly agree that the UN needs reforms, like getting rid of veto power and making enforcement neutral, but scrapping the system in the face of the US superpower's violations would have some devestating consequences that threaten human survival. the US is quickly becoming the world's punching bag and what scares me is that the democrats and republicans are talking as aggressvie as ever and seem willing to take this one to nuclear holocaust.

  • now bush is attempting to assault international law futher with US "might makes right" mentality in which the US superpower should govern the third world as it pleases, with only the "free market" left to help safeguard the third world from foreign military and economic threats to the survival of their people.

  • there is a movement in the US, among democrats and republicans, to push for a new global system where the US controls the third world and only allows them to participate through the "free market", look to latin america to see how that works out. clinton assaulted international law, and attempted to assert global US rule, with his so called "humanitarian interverntion" in yugoslavia.

  • Clawson works for the Washington Institute for Near East Policy, which was set up by the Israel Lobby group AIPAC in 1985. He is merely reproducing Zionist talking points here. This was a war for Israel, and it certainly won't do them any good if the US taxpayer turned wise to the bill in blood and gold it has been saddled with.

  • yes indeed Patrick Clausen is one good example of contradictions...

  • Patrick Clausen, good man!

If there were no person like you, how could American know how foolish they are?

Thank You so much Patrick, live that way.

  • This whole, "Pottery Barn" you-broke-it-you-fix-it policy of the US is just a sham. If you have a bull in a china shop, running amok, do you expect the bull to fix the plates? No, the owner of the shop gets someone that CAN fix it, to fix it, and then bills the owner for the repair job.

    US out of Iraq NOW!

  • Some people count sheep, I guess he'd count dollars.
