  • That bike will smoke the tire at 100 easy!! Went through the traps sideways.. Wait til my next post 9.23.

  • Looks like I'm going to have to apologize to you "youngsters." I havn't ridden for about ten years now, except occasionally when a friend drops by and I take his scooter around the block. It was recently proved to me that A hayabusa can break the rear wheel at over 130mph. I'd better study up on these new bikes. A lot has been done to the technology since AARP started sending me offers. I apologize and sign off by saying...These things are not only quick...they're fast.

  • "Turn the screw up on one" before you bad mouth the V-Max. I ride an 85' to work.

Passed a car leaving work and had the rear tire spinning at 65mph. This bike is no BS. It hits hard above 6000. Mine is bone stock. It is what it is. I asked the guy who inspected it if it was running ok. He told me "Yea, I got it sideways coming up the hill." Nuff said.

  • sweet ride I love how the Vmax is prone to power wheelies. Get a set of wheelie bars and you will gain lots, i picked up 4 tenths on my R6 and its a slug out of the hole compared to vMax

  • Well it's good to see you are sharp and have a since of humor. I'll give you that.

  • It's "intelligence." I've ridden a Vmax althoiugh I didn't turn the screw up on one. I have twisted the throttle on my share of both quick and fast scooters....I'm not older than dirt but it did smell new when I first saw it though...

  • I'm by no means a "professional" racer. I've made my fair share of mistakes on the track. The point of racing is to win. I drag raced for fun and that's it. If you've never ridden a Vmax then just admit it. But it sounds like your older than dirt and done everything there is so I wont insult your intelligents.

  • I' ll guarantee this scooter didn't lose any traction. Could it" yeah, if you wanted it to and you knew what you were doing. Spun half way down the track? Real doubtfull unless you were squirting oil oon the rear tire and / or you weren't interested in the beat track time. Have I ever ridden a V Max? I was flat tracking a KR before you were born. As I got older I stuck to 1/4 mile straights. Various Sportsters, A Honda 65, Kawa Ninja and owned or ridden eveything in between. Rode a wheelie? Oooh

  • Have you ever drag raced a Vmax? I've spun the tire halfway down the track on my Vmax. Rode a wheelie in the first two gears stock. It's more than a scooter buddy.
