The reason it does not sound like Japanese in the Beginning is that it is not It's the Abh Language.

I don't know about all that, but this abh language is a mix of languages and sounds.

this language first sceine used is Marv language. not japanese or other known Earthian language .

@warriorking4ever I was also fascinated with this move first time I watched the show, but ultimately it makes sense. Not spending time, resources or energy on planet garrisons allowed the Abh Empire to control multiple solar systems and made their empire very flexible not to mention powerful. They harness the local star's energy, mine the asteroid belts and rape the gas planets. They don't need any liveable plants, they control space and that, in the end is what matters :D

@8288Armando for the Japanese Viewer its supposed to represent the differences in cultures and languages. Since it opens with Abh, it would only make sense to have a very "western" culture speak English.

I don't understand why 4:08 - 4:23 was in English but then it just changes to Japanese afterwards.

Could someone explain to me why anyone would post an entire series using a program that leaves a crippleware watermark. There have always been freeware converters available.

the dubs for this anime where really good i remember staying up till 12 just to see it on G4 , before g4 was all about cops for 8 hours stright lol

Ahhh, its been years since I last saw this series. Too bad banner never came to a real conclusive ending. Not to mention that stupid AVS watermark in the middle of the screen. >.<"
