@7554EdwardG what you say is so true; these are excellent vocals on a classic track. but, there are still lots of gr8 "best of" cd's with this track on, and from the same sessions, a lot of other classics; same quality. i give you a link, with a 3 double cd - i'm a fan of this group since 1973 - don't believe what some reviewers say; i'm sure you will be pleased with... @ wwwamazondotcom / Three-Degrees-Greatest-Hits / dp / samples / B00005RVT0 / ref=dp_tracks_all_1#disc_1 (see disc 3)

@7554EdwardG it's between 1990 and 1995; the line-up is Helen Scott, Cynthia Garrison & Valerie - this line-up started in 1990; end of 2010 Cynthia left because of serious health problems; Freddie Pool stepped in; she was a former lady of The Supremes; i saw them on their tour, in february in the UK (i live in Belgium), and the show was awesome; very pleased to see that but... and that's normal... will miss Cindy, a very lovely person and fab singer, very much.

Thanks for the info ytgm00.
Sounds great - I always liked Aretha Franklin's version but this is also fabulous - nice tempo and arrangement.
Any idea what year? It's obviously the current line-up.

@7554EdwardG Valerie Holiday is lead - thank you for your comment :-)
I bought the nicley packaged re-issed CD albums from Big Break Records and was taken aback at how good their albums are. I have begun recollecting the vinyl. Some of the covers are superb and they always managed to look sexy without the sleazy element of many of today's stars. They were definitely hugely under-rated and compare very favourably with any other all soul group – male or female - and not just The Supremes.

@7554EdwardG i say: "at last / finally", these releases are really a quality work and many devoted people worked hard to get these cd's out. what you say, is so true; they don't need all the fuss; they just do what they used to do since 1966... bring a good show to the people; beside that, they stayed with their feet on the ground. today, they have their own, very active, pages on FaceBook; interested? you're very welcome to join our group "A Toast of Love - A Tribute to The Three Degrees".

Thanks ygtm00 - great information - you sound like the girls' agent! That was a long serving line up.I was a big fan of the Three Degrees and the whole Philly Sound as a music loving teen back in the late seventies but only took in their singles on vinyl at the time. I recently re-discovered my taste for their music after stumbling across your posted video of the stunning "Get Your Love Back" !

@7554EdwardG thx u! hehe, i'm certainly not an agent, i'm just someone who followed these ladies during their ups and... their downs (like everybody we all have in our careers, not?). but, the downs brought them, imho, to a higher level - for me, the fact that they still exists, in the music business is a prove of their true statue; people all over the world are enjoying their music; wherever they go, uk, netherlands, japan, belgium etc. they are received with gr8 respect; true legends!
