Makes me think of that Fruits Basket episode when they go to the Onsen, and Tohru feels dizzy and passes out because the water was too warm for her, I'm afraid that would happen to me too. （−＿−；）

my only concern is my tattoos-ive heard some or most onsen wont allow people with them-my comedy tragedy masks are not easily hidden, on my inner hip bones, mine arent profane -.- i think its a little odd...especially if its just something cute like a butterfly

I did onsen while in Japan.... nothing beats getting to know your host family by being naked with them! O_o (Women only though, it was all public.) I got some looks but after about 2 minutes, with everyone being naked, it just feels normal. And, really, most of the time you're submerged, it's not like everyone is putting their butt in everyone else's face.
